9 and under are free. Players and coaches will also receive free admission. Select the tournament by clicking the blue cart icon for the appropriate tournament. On the next screen there will be two options. Option 1 -- Continue as a Guest is the easiest, fastest option Option 2 -- Login or create an account to have access to your ticket purchase history. After selecting one of these options, you will select the number of tickets you want to purchase and click "Continue". Please understand that tickets are non-refundable. On the next screen, answer the non-refund question, complete the guest information, and click "Continue". Now complete the checkout and billing process. House Rules for the Lawrence Sports Pavilion: No chairs or coolers inside building. Water bottles for players are allowed. Concession stand will be open. Check-In: Please check-in upon arrival at the Tournament Director desk. Make sure your roster is correct and complete. All players listed on the tournament entry form must be registered with HOA. Coaches Meeting: 7:40AM -- Please attend. Coaches Credentials: Coaches must show their HOA/SportsEngine-issued credentials at check-in. If you cannot show proof of credentials, you cannot coach/sit on the team bench. First Team to Ref: Please arrive by 7:30AM to make sure net height is correct and all supplies are at the score table. Call for captains at 7:45AM and then start warm-ups. Play starts promptly at 8:00AM. Warm-Ups: Warm-Ups start immediately after the end of the previous match. 2 minutes ball handling, each team on their side of the net. After that, there will be 4 minutes court time for the Serving team, followed by 4 minutes court time for the Receiving team. Tournament Directors reserve the right to change warm-up times. Scoring and Officiating: Rostered coach must be R1 in 14 and under, age groups. For 15 and over, a rostered coach must be R1, R2, or scorer. We also recommend having a registered parent rep or assistant sit at the score table to help with scorekeeping. Format: 3 Team pool: Will play 3 sets in pool play start 4-4 go to 25 no cap. 4 Team Pool: Will play 2 sets in pool play start 4-4 go to 25 no cap. 5 Team Pool: Will play 2 sets in pool play start 4-4 go to 25 no cap. 4 Team Division: All teams advance to single elimination playoff. Medals awarded to 1st and 2nd Place. 6 Team Division: Top 3 teams advance to a single elimination playoff. Medals awarded to 1st and 2nd place. 7 Team Division: Top 6 advance to single elimination playoff. Medals awarded to 1st and 2nd Place. 8 Team Division: Top two teams in each pool will advance to a Gold Bracket, bottom two teams in each pool will advance to a silver bracket. No break in between pool and bracket play. If necessary, play 3rd set in bracket play. Start at 0-0 go to 15 no cap. Bracket play is single elimination. If you lose in bracket you need to stay to ref the next match. Medals will be awarded to 1st and 2nd in the Gold Bracket and 1st in the Silver Bracket. 10 Team Division across 3 courts: 2 pools of 5 teams. Pools have cross officiate assignments on the shared court. Top three teams from each pool advance to single elimination playoff. Medals to First and Second place teams. If necessary, play 3rd set in bracket play. Start at 0-0 go to 15 no cap. Bracket play is single elimination. If you lose in bracket you need to stay to ref the next match 12 Team Division: Top two teams in each pool will advance to a Gold Bracket, 3rd place will advance to a Silver Bracket. 4th Place will advance to a Bronze Bracket. No break in between pool and bracket play. If necessary, play 3rd set in bracket play. Start at 0-0 go to 15 no cap. Bracket play is single elimination. Medals will be awarded to 1st and 2nd in the Gold Bracket and 1st in the Silver Bracket. 13 team division: Top 2 from each pool advance to gold bracket, bottom team or teams from each advance to silver bracket. 4 team pool plays 2 sets start at 4-4 go to 25, no cap. 3 team pools play 3 sets start at 4-4 go to 25, no cap. 16 Team Division: All Teams advance to playoffs: Top 2 from each pool to Top Bracket 3&4 to bottom bracket. Start/Finish: Tournament will begin at 8:00am. Doors open at 7:00am. Coaches meeting at 7:40am. The tournament should be done around 5:00pm. Other: Traditional scoresheets will be used this season, as well as libero tracking forms. There will be NO switching sides between sets. 12Select and 11Select will have a step-in line. Camp Area: Keep the camp area clean and neat, do not spread out. If told by tournament officials to clean your area, please respect their directions. Concessions: A full concession stand will be available. Options include salads, hot and cold sandwiches, burgers, chicken sandwiches, juices, candy, and more. |
