Heart of American Volleyball Region's Guidelines for Venues Licensed for Alcohol Sales:

USAV's Code of Conduct prohibits alcohol consumption by any registered junior volleyball player and illegal sale of alcohol at any USAV/Region sanctioned event.

Heart of America Volleyball Region's Guidelines for Venues Licensed for Alcohol Sales does not alter USAV's Code of Conduct. The Heart of America Volleyball Region (the "HOA") discourages alcohol consumption by event attendees but recognizes that certain event venues offer alcohol sales. For this reason, the following guidelines will be enforced at venues where alcohol is served. For the safety and well-being of all attendees:

  • All attendees at a HOA sanctioned event shall be subject to this policy.
  • Tournament directors, tournament staff, scorers, officials and coaches shall not consume alcohol at any time at the Event.
  • The Tournament Director (or designated agent) shall have absolute discretion to remove an event attendee for disruptive conduct.
  • All alcohol must be served in accordance with State and local law with required licensing and insurance.
  • Carry-in or carry-out of alcohol is strictly prohibited.
  • Alcohol sales shall in no way impede the players access to concessions, which may require separate checkout registers.
  • Courtside possession and/or consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited.
  • HOA reserves the right to amend or supplement these Guidelines without notice
