Check back on Friday at 5:00 p.m. prior to the tournament for schedule changes Admission Fee: $10 per person. We are cashless, card only. Tournament Location Homefield Olathe 2115 E Kansas City Rd. Olathe, KS 66061 * We have bleacher seating at our Homefield Olathe location, parents can bring in their own chairs if they prefer. * NO outside food or coolers are allowed, You will be asked to take food back to your car or eat outside the facility. Light snacks are allowed for players. * Concession stand will be open during tournament hours. Parking:
Coaches & Player Entrance - Please use the dedicated entrance for coaches and players when arriving. Signs will be posted inthe parking lot. Weather Policy: If the tournament needs to be canceled, it will be posted here by 9:30 PM the night before the tournament. Check-In: Please check-in upon arrival at the Tournament Director desk. Coaches Meeting: 7:30 a.m. Coaches Credentials: Coaches must show their HOA issued credentials at check-in. If you cannot show proof of credentials, you cannot coach/sit on the team bench. Coaches must wear their laynards while coaching, If you do not have a laynard, please ask for one at check-in. First Team to Ref: Please arrive by 7:30 a.m. to make sure net height is correct and all supplies are at the score table. Call for captains at 7:45 a.m. and then start warm-ups. Play start courts promptly at 8:00 a.m. Warm-Ups: Warm-Ups start immediately after the end of the previous match. 2 minutes ball handling, each team on their side of the net. After that, there will be 4 minutes court time for the Serving team, followed by 4 minutes court time for the Receiving team. Tournament Directors reserve the right to change warm-up times. Scoring and Officiating: Rostered coach must be R1 in 14 and under age groups. For 15 and over, a rostered coach must be R1, R2, or scorer. Tournament director reserves the right to require a coach to be the R1. Format: Pool Play will be two sets to 25 starting at 4-4. No cap. Once we move to bracket play, play a 3rd set if necessary. 3rd set starts at 0-0 and goes to 15. No cap. Other: Traditional scoresheets will be used this season, as well as libero tracking forms. Teams will not switch sides between sets. 12Select and 11Select will have a step-in line. Please clean up your bench area when your teams has finished playing. ONLY the players that are working need to be at the scorer's table, please no food or drink on the scorer's table. Camp Area: Picnic tables by the concession stand will be assigned to teams prior to the start of the tournament. Please have your team locate their team name in the team camp area when they arrive. Please clean up your team area at the end of the day please. Court Access Doors: We have undergone some construction at Homefield Olathe. Due to this construction there are doors to the volleyball courts that are emergency exits only and are not to be used during the tournament to gain access to the concession stand or camp area. We ask parents and players to use the main volleyball entrance to enter and exit the courts to get to the team camp/concession area. We look forward to hosting your teams!
