Divisions:

Bearcat Arena 800 University Dr. Maryville, MO 64468. Please keep in mind the following as you get ready to travel this weekend:

NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINK - I know this can be annoying, but please let your teams know we do not allow coolers and we will be running concessions! Pulled pork sandwiches, nachos and other traditional concession items as well.

Arrival - Doors will open at 8:15am, please do not try to enter earlier. The south entrance located right by the circle drive is where you will be able to enter. Then take the elevator or stairs located to your right just inside the building door to the 2nd floor where you will see the signs and arrows saying "Northwest Classic". Coaches Check-In: Please check-in upon arrival at the Tournament Director desk.  Make sure your roster is correct and complete.  All players listed on the tournament entry form must be registered with HOA. Coaches Credentials: Coaches must show their HOA/SportsEngine-issued credentials at check-in.  If you cannot show proof of credentials, you cannot coach/sit on the team bench. Coaches meeting will be at 8:30am

Parking - There is a lot just south of Bearcat Arena on Ray Avenue that should have plenty of parking. Street parking is also available.

Admission - Spectators can pay $10 cash or Venmo @MirandaMizera at the door (50% of gate and concessions proceeds will be donated to a local family who has a son that has been battling heart disease).

Teams - We will have team tables set up in the entryway on the south side of the arena for girls to camp out. Please leave arena seating for parents and spectators. NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINKS IN THE ARENA as we will be running a concession stand with smoked pulled pork options, drinks and snacks (see attached menu).

Coaches Meeting - We will meet at 8:30am with the whistle blowing for first warm-ups to start at 8:50am and first matches to start at 9am SHARP. If all parties are ready to start earlier, I'd like to get warmups going by 8:45am to be sure we keep the day going quickly.

First Team to Ref - Please arrive at least 30 minutes early to make sure net height is correct and all supplies are at the score table.  Call for captains 15 minutes prior to the posted start time for the match and then start warm-ups.  Play starts promptly!

Warm-Ups - Warm-Ups start immediately after the end of the previous match. (First three rounds of play) 2 minutes ball handling, each team on their side of the net. After that, there will be 4 minutes court time for the Serving team, followed by 4 minutes court time for the Receiving team. (After the third round of play) 1 minute ball handling on your respective sides followed by 3 minutes for the serving team to take the full court, then 3 minutes for the receiving team. Tournament Directors reserve the right to change warm-up times.

Scoring and Officiating - For 15 and over, a rostered coach must be R1, R2, or scorer.  We also recommend having a registered parent rep or assistant sit at the score table to help with scorekeeping. With 10 teams, we want things to run as smoothly and efficiently as possible so please stay near your court and get the whistle blown for the next match warmup as soon as previous teams have cleared the benches.

Playoffs - Top 3 teams from each pool will advance to Gold Bracket, bottom 2 teams from each pool advance to Silver Bracket. Medals and T Shirts will be awarded to First Place in each divsion and medals to second place in Gold.

Weather Policy: If the tournament needs to be cancelled, it will be posted here by 9:30 PM the night before the tournament.
