WELCOME to our Polar Power Play Tournament hosted at Wichita Hoops Edge Sports Complex located at 5260 Toler Drive Bel Aire at the far North East subarb of Wichita ~ off of Webb Road and Hwy 254. 

Our Doors will open at 7:00am for check in and to find campsites.  This facility will NOT allow any outside food or drink with the exception of what you are able to carry in personal book bags or backpacks.  Please respect the facilities wishes, they will have (2) concession stands open throughout the day, they promised me would open at 7:00am.  You may bring your softback chairs to sit in, however there will be bleachers courtside at all courts.  

There will be NO Coaches meeting prior to first round of pool play.  You may start as soon as all teams are courtside you do not have to wait until 8:00am to start.  

There will be a $5 Spectator fee collected at the door, please share with your families.  There will be two entries ( West and South) for families and coaches to enter to check in and sign rosters.  please have your ID and coaches badge available for check in.  

Parking gets nuts so if it is cold enough for the ground to be hardened, you may park in the field just South of the building. 

We will have a simple Coach's snack room in the Training room just behind our work table. We will have snacks to grab and a cooler of water to help Coaches through the day. 

Please keep your courts moving as best you can.  The transitions between sets and matches make the difference in how late your tournament finishes up at the end of the day.  Please call for captains at the finish of the previous match with the start of your warm up stop watch.  The only playing not getting the passing warm up is the captain calling the flip.  Do NOT start your warm up timing AFTER the captain's meeting....it must start during your captain's meetng!!!

Please NO cell phones, food or boyfriends at the scoretable while you are working.  Please have your work team ready to take the table as the close of the match prior...this is a MUST. 

Please check your schedule one more time at the end of the week prior to February 1st to make sure there have not been any changes due to teams dropping or adding. 

We look forward to hosting your teams and families at the Hoops/Edge Sports Complex.  We will NOT cancel for weather, please be prepared. Please reach out if you need anything prior to Saturday!

All Timed Warm-ups are 2-4-4 (2 shared, 4 minutes Serving Team; 4 minutes Receiving Team)

All match times are approximate. The first three matches will not start before scheduled time unless all 3 teams are there and ready to play.
After the 3rd match, next match warmups should start within 2 minutes of previous match.

All Players must complete & pay for 2025-26 HOA registration before playing.

Tournament format:

2 Courts - 7 Teams (6 Gold) - Pool Play: Two sets to 25. Beginning at 4-4, no cap.

Playoffs will be two out of three sets. First two set to 25. Beginning at 4-4, no cap.
Third set, if necessary will be a 15 point with no cap.
During Playoffs the losing team is required to officiate the following match.
