WELCOME to the Wichita Sports Forum January Jam IV+ Tournament 

The Wichita Sports Forum is located in the Greemwich Shopping Center full of quality shopping, restaurants, Dave and Busters and the LaQuinta hotel in the parking lot of the Sports Forum.

Doors will open at 7:00am. Both the West and South doors will be open for you to enter.  There will be a $5 Spectators fee collected upon entering the tournament.  Coaches, please have your credentials visible at check in.  We will have extra lanyards if you are needing a lanyard for your HOA credentials if you need one. 

There will NOT be a coaches meeting prior to the start of Pool Play.  If your teams are scheduled to play or officiate at 7:00am, please have your teams courtside by 7:40am to be ready for coin flip and warm up. First whistle should be blown for serve at 8:00am.  Please keep the transitions betwen matches and sets moving.  As soon as the match finishes the officiating team must be at the table ready to set the warm up timer prior to calling for captains per HOA officiating guidelines.  

Spectators:  You may bring in limited food and drink with you for the day.  They have upgraded their full concessions and will be open from 8:00am until close of tournament.  You may bring in your own seating, however we will have limited bleacher seating available.  Please come prepared to pay a $5 spectator fee upon entering the tournament, venmo or cash will be accepted.   

11's Division has (5) teams played on court 10.  Top 3 teams will advance to a single elimination bracket play with 1st and 2nd place being medaled.  Please move your warm up time to 1-3-3 following the first match of pool play to keep the tournament moving with less down time.  Thank you.

12's division has (4) teams and will be played on court 9.  All teams will advance to a single elimination bracket following pool play.  1st and 2nd place medals will be awarded at the completion of bracket play. 

13's division has (4) teams and will be played on court 8.  All teams will advance to a single elimination bracket play. 1st and 2nd place teams will be awarded medals. 

16's division has (8) teams in their division to be played on courts 11 and 12.  All teams will advance to a single elimination Gold and Silver bracket. 1st and 2nd place will be awarded medals for Gold with 1st place for the top finisher in Silver. 

17's division will play (3) courts of 10 teams with the top 3 teams from each pool advancing to a Gold and Silver bracket play.  Please read over your pool play to understand the movement between courts.  This was designed by HOA to speed up the 10 team tournament to keep them from having such a long day.   17's will be played on courts 2, 3 and 4.

18's Diviision will be played on courts 13 and 14 on the new courts.  (8) team tournament.  All teams will advance to a Gold and Silver single elimination bracket following pool play.  

IMPORTANT ~  You MUST check back on Friday afternoon to make sure no changes have been made to your pool play schedule due to adds or drops during the week.  Thank you!

All Timed Warm-ups are 2-4-4 (2 shared, 4 minutes Serving Team; 4 minutes Receiving Team)

All match times are approximate. The first three matches will not start before scheduled time unless all 3 teams are there and ready to play.
After the 3rd match, next match warmups should start within 2 minutes of previous match.

All Players must complete & pay for 2023-24 HOA registration before playing.

Full day only tournament formats:

• 3 Team Pool Play: Three sets to 25. Beginning at 4-4, no cap.
• 4 Team Pool Play where all teams advance to playoffs: Two sets to 25. Beginning at 4-4, no cap.
• 4 Team Pool Play where not all teams advance to playoffs: Three sets to 25. Beginning at 4-4, no cap.
• 5 Team Pool Play: Two sets to 25. Beginning at 4-4, no cap.
• 6 Team Pool Play: Two sets to 25. Beginning at 4-4, no cap.
• 7 Team Pool Play: Two sets to 25. Beginning at 4-4, no cap.
• 9 Teams on 3 Courts: Two sets to 25. Beginning at 4-4, no cap.

Challenge Round and Playoffs will be two out of three sets. First two set to 25. Beginning at 4-4, no cap.
Third set, if necessary will be a 15 point with no cap.
During Playoffs the losing team is required to officiate the following match.
