WELCOME to the Start of Super Bowl Weekend!!!  We look forward to hosting your teams and families Super Bowl Warmup tournament at the Wichita Hoops 14 court facility.  Hoops is located at 5260 N Toler Dr. BelAire in the farthest NE Corner of Wichita, close to the intersection of Hwy254 and Webb Road. 

We will have Tournament Shirts and a Flash Sale on past tournaent shirts and volleyball apparel. 

This Saturday we will have a full facility of 14's, 15's, 16's and 18's. The doors will be open at 7:00am with both the West and East entrances open for check in and spectator entrance.  There will be a $5 spectator fee collected for spectatorrs over 5 years of age.  Coaches please have your badges visible upon check in so the money takers won's ask you to pay. Please make changes to your rosters and sign them prior to going to your courts. 

Please have your 8:00am teams courtside by 7:40 to start the 2-4-4- warm up and coin toss for captains.  The day is going to be a LONG day with as many teams as we have in each division, please help us shorten the day for all by being at your court when it your turn to officiate.  Please remember the HOA officiating guidelines where it said the stop watch is to start timing the warmup IMMEDIATELY following the previous match,  The only person not able to participate in the 2 minute shared passing is the captain as they are busy with the coin toss. If you wait to start the 2 minute shared passing stopwatch until AFTER the captain meeting you are adding minutes and close to an extra hour to your day.   

After everyone has had the opportunity to play one round then please lower the warm up time to 1-3-3.  If someone feels they need more time then be respectful, however really how much more hitting and serving does a team need when they have been playing all day???   :-)

You may bring in food and drink for the day.  Hoops does have a new concession vendor with great choices but the lines do get long.  You may bring in your own seating, however there will be limited bleachers at each courtside.  Please make sure to send enough water for your players ~ there is only one water filler for water bottles and that is by courts 11 and 12.  We will have a Spill Station if you need rags or paper towels for spills please take only what you need....we will have a bucket and mop handy as well.  If you would please monitor your drinks as there will be volleyballs flying through out the day.

There will be a Gold single elimination bracket play for the top (2) teams from each pool following pool play for the 14's, 15's, and 18's.  There will be a Gold and Silver Bracket for the 16's Division.  The deciding factor on whether you have a Gold Bracket or a Gold and Silver, Bronze bracket is for the most part decided upon how many teams are in each pool. Teams with 4 teams in a pool all teams must move on to bracket play in order to get their minimum games in.  5 team pools get their minimum games in for everyone during pool play.  I hope this helps with any questions as to why we don't have a Silver or Bronze this Saturday..
