We will be hosting our New Year Spikefest at Wichita Hoops on Saturday January 4th.  The Doors will be open at 7:00am.  Both the West and South entries will be open for entrance.  The address is 5260 Toler Dr. BelAire in the far NE corner of Wichita of Webb Rd and Hwy 254.

In order not to have to park so far down the road, you may park in the fields on the West and South sides....the ground should be frozen enough for you.  

Coaches please check and sign your rosters at the check in table at either entrances.  Please have your credentials visible for our staff checking in teams. 

There will be a $5 spectator fee collected at both doors for families and friends attending the tournament. 

Limited food and drink will be allowed for the day along with your personal seating you would like to bring.  Large rolling coolers, wagons and bulk food will not be allowing in the facility.  There will be a full concession available, as well as limited bleacher seating at each courtside

There will be NO Coaches meeting prior to the first Pool Play games.  Please have your officiating teams courtside by 7:45 to call for captains and get the day started without delay. 

WARMUP: is 2 minutes shared passing, 4 minutes individual team warm up starting with the serving team followed by 4 minutes by the receiving team.  After all teams have played one rotation of pool play, warm up will be lessoned to 1-3-3.  Divisions with (5) teams please make sure your transitions flow effortlessly with the 1-3-3 to keep your day from going to late into the evening.  You may decide you would like to skip warm up at the end of the day if your team has been playing back to back.  There is no need for excessive passing the ball when the players have played all day.  :-)

****** 17's Division will be playing with 9 teams on (3) courts...played on courts 9, 10 and 11 tomorrow.  One round of pool play with 2 sets to 25 then pools will be reseeded for challenge matches.  The challenge matches will determine the seeding of bracket play following the challenges. 

****** 16's with (6) teams will be played on courts 4 and 8.  THere will be one round of pool play of 2 sets to 25 points starting 4v4.  The teams will be reseeded for a challenge play of best 2 out of 3.  the challenge portion will determine the seeding of  Gold and Silver brackets  

****** 15's with (7) teams will be played on courts 2 and 3 on the West side Phase I.  (6) teams advance to single elimination bracket play with 1st and 2nd receiving medals. 

****** 14's with (5) teams  will be played on court 12 at the end of Phase II the East side.  This division will go late into the day if the transitions are not made smoothly.  Please have your officiating teams courtside ready to call for captains at the competion of the match previous.  Please make sure to drop to 1-3-3 warm up following everyone playing one round.  If your team has sat too long, please take them to courts 1 or 6 to prepare after your long break. Please start your timer when you call for captains for your captain meeting.  The only person missing the 1 minute shared passing is the captain.  Do NOT start your timer after the captain's meeting.  You wil lbe glad you did at the end of the day when you are leaving earlier than expected.  The top (3) Teams will advance to bracket play with 1st and 2nd finishers being awarded. 

****** 13's divison with (4) Teams will be run on Court 5.  All teams will advance to bracket play following pool play.

All match times are approximate. The first three matches will not start before scheduled time unless all 3 teams are there and ready to play.
After the 3rd match, next match warmups should start within 2 minutes of previous match.

All Players must complete & pay for 2024-25 HOA registration before playing.

Tournament format:

2 Courts - 6 Teams (Crossover, 3 Gold, 3 Silver) - Pool Play: Two sets to 25. Beginning at 4-4, no cap.

Crossover Round and Playoffs will be two out of three sets. First two set to 25. Beginning at 4-4, no cap.
Third set, if necessary will be a 15 point with no cap.
During Playoffs the losing team is required to officiate the following match.
